Ford was using "rustless" steel in 1931, (how'd they forget that in the crappy 1970's cars?)

100 years ago, you could order a really good motorcycle from the Sears catalog, you can't do that today on Amazon!

Nik ( carrosantigos.wordpress.com ) finds the coolest stuff! a 1915 Indian Motorcycle brochure, with incredible cool stuff
0 comments Posted by Unknown at 2:28 PMGuaranteed speed of 70 mph... in 1915! Damn, that must have been crazy considering the road conditions and amount of horse crap you'd be likely to run over. Proabably most of Americans were still using horses as transportation then.. it was a far different world than today when you won't ever see a horse on a road
And in less than 100 years we have transitioned from telegraph to texting... that is astonishing
check out http://carrosantigos.wordpress.com for the full brochure, and lots of other cool stuff

this is from http://www.freepistonjetengine.741.com/myfiles/turbonique/pages/catalog.html who insisted on putting a damn tag on every page so you'd appreciate that he was the jerk who got them uglier by putting his name one them. I hate that.
