this car is a regular at the Over the Hill Gang Streak in Pacific Beach every May, and I think I've seen it at several other car shows... that Arias hemi is a monster. I wonder if it's driveable?

this is the only one I've ever seen...

But in Hawaii, on the island of Oahu, a member of the 1990s Mopar Club had one in the crate, and every christmas he dragged it into the liveing room from the closet, and set a small christmas tree on it. After the holiday, he pushed it back into the closet.

true story, I he told me about it. Great guy too, all of the Oahu Mopar club were really nice people.

this might be a score, or a money pit. No idea. I bet his reserve is 100k

For sale 1966 charger funny car, this the first year for the fiberglass flopper body, this body was made by Fiber Glass Limited in Stone Park, Illinois. With what I have researched they have only made 11 bodies in 66. These bodies were originally made with a 1 piece nose, two doors and the body. I don't know the history of this car, all the parts you see in the pictures came with the car. Things I do know about the parts, the block is a 64 426 hemi and the heads are 65 Aloca K-Heads, the block has been machined and ready for assembly, the block has been repaired but has been pressured tested good, the heads looked in very poor condition. I had the heads completely re-freshed with new seats and stainless valves. I have crank, rods, and misc. parts for engine. I have torqueflight, tranz and the rear end is an olds with 488 spool and Mickey Thompson case.  Also I have the frame that came with the car which is included in the auction but would not have been original to the car.

I usually post before and after photos differently, but this one is in context and the above photo shows clearly what he's accomplished from the below

Amazing car, 331 hemi, great interior and dash

But before I checked out the car, I noticed the purse the woman was holding. See the first photo at the beginning of this gallery, and you'll notice it too.

 That is one cool purse!
Jerry made it for his daughter, and why describe it? You can tell what it's made from
except that you wouldn't know that he used part of his jacket for the inside, and a bit of leather from his tool belt for the snap strap
the handle is removeable, and a longer one can be added, changing it from a clutch purse (get it, clutch?) to a shoulder purse
How awesome, and he even was keeping it shined up for her during the show.
Cara, thanks for the pleasant chat, and sharing with me the cool dad-made purse. I bet a lot of guys are going to try making one now.
