Toyota has teased us with a photo of the 2014 Corolla, which will be fully unveiled on June 6. The image uploaded to Toyota USA’s Facebook page shows a close-up of the taillight and rear badge, and we can a slight resemblance to the Furia concept from Detroit.
The photo shows the underside of the passenger-side taillight, which tapers inward and appears to wrap around the outside like the Furia. If that concept accurately previews the next-gen Corolla, we may see features like a long, slender front grille and sloping roofline hit the production version. The Chinese-market Toyota Yundong Shuangqing II hybrid sedan concept, which sported Furia styling cues and a wide Avalon-like front valance opening when it was revealed last month, could also hint at the next Corolla’s design.
