The Problem: Certain 2013 Rolls-Royce Phantoms’ fuel filler necks may be missing their anti-misfueling devices, needed to discharge static electricity. Without this part, the risk of a fire from static discharge is increased.
The Fix: Rolls-Royce is in the process of contacting owners, and dealers will inspect fuel tanks and replace faulty fuel filler necks at no cost to the owner. Rolls-Royce Phantom owners may call the automaker at 1-877-877-3735 for more information.
Number of Vehicles Potentially Affected: 27 model-year 2013 Rolls-Royce Phantomsmanufactured between November 2, 2012 and January 18, 2013 are potentially affected.
