the museum of firefighting in Phoenix is cleverly called the Hall of Flame. I was unable to get there early enough before closing, but here's a glimpse inside through the window

But "This is NOT a step"? Then what is the horizontal solid flat plane surface doing 6 inches off the ground. By definition that IS a step.
Ever get the feeling I don't get along well with grouchy rule making curmudgeons? Yeah, me too.
