CARS NEW

Monday, January 14, 2013

In addition to the new Grand Cherokee, Jeep's updated 2013 line-up includes a lightly refreshed version of the Compass. The two new models have been shown together on the brand's stand at the Detroit Motor Show this week.

Subtle tweaks to the grille, bumpers and lights mark out the newcomer, along with some material updates and options for the interior.

The 2.0-litre petrol and 2.2-litre diesel engines remain in the line-up, along with two and four-wheel-drive models, but a new six-speed automatic gearbox is now available.

Additional equipment includes standard seat-mounted front airbags and a new optional reversing camera. Prices for the updated Jeep Compass should start from around £18,000. For more details click here.
