Already VW is turning up the heat on the up! This stunning GT version is officially just a design concept, but we're not falling for that. Oehmke admitted that "it's likely to make produciton," and that it could appear "within a year."

Under the bonnet it uses a turbochrged version of the three-cylinder engine found in the launch car producing "around 100bhp to 115bhp," according to Oehmke. It features bigger wheels, a bodykit and twin exhausts at the back, while the interior get classic GTI tartan trim and a unique cradle for smart phones that integrates into the dash.
